Ezell Statement on the Anniversary of the 9/11 Attacks

Washington, September 11, 2024 | Claire Hurley (2022255772)

Today, Congressman Mike Ezell (MS-04) released the following statement reflecting on the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States of America:

"As we mark the anniversary of one of the worst days in American history, the September 11th terrorist attacks, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on that tragic day. We honor the bravery of the first responders, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice to save others. Their courage in the face of unimaginable danger continues to inspire us all today.

"While we stand united to pay tribute to the victims, their families, and the survivors who carry the weight of that day, let us also reaffirm our commitment to the values that define our nation: freedom, resilience, and the pursuit of justice. Although over two decades have passed, we remain vigilant in the face of threats to our safety and security. We will never forget."
