Ezell Statement on Motion to Vacate the Chair

Today, Congressman Mike Ezell issued the following statement after voting to table Congressman Matt Gaetz's (FL-01) motion to vacate the chair:

"When Republicans spend our time arguing about egos instead of fighting for conservative values, Joe Biden wins. That’s why Democrats are unanimously supporting the motion to vacate.

"For the first time since the Clinton administration, the House is on track to fund the government through regular, constitutional order. We cannot lose sight of that goal. I voted and will continue to vote to move past these distractions and get back to doing our jobs."
