This afternoon, the House will consider H.R. 26, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. Congressman Mike Ezell joined the bill, sponsored by Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), as a co-sponsor.

The legislation ensures that infants born alive after an attempted abortion receive the same protection of law and degree of care as any newborn, including lifesaving care and transportation to a hospital.

“As a father and grandfather, I am proud to cosponsor H.R. 26,” said Ezell. “I believe it is one of my most important duties as your congressman to protect the sanctity of life.”

Congressman Mike Ezell represents Mississippi’s Fourth Congressional District. He is currently serving his first term. For more information, please visit ezell.house.gov
