Today, Congressman Mike Ezell (MS-04) applauded Congress for advancing 11 of the 12 appropriations bills, a major step toward funding the federal government through regular order and delivering critical investments for national security, border enforcement, disaster readiness, and local priorities — including key wins for Mississippi’s Fourth District. “For the first time in years, Congress is moving appropriations the right way,” Ezell said. “Passing 11 of the 12 appropriations bills restores accountability, reduces wasteful uncertainty, and ensures taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly. These bills support the men and women who keep our country safe, respect the hard-earned tax dollars of American families, and reflect what I hear back home — protecting our coast, supporting our workforce, strengthening public safety, and making sure Washington works for Mississippi, not the other way around.
