Representative Mike Ezell

Dear [salutation],

I've had a great time back home in South Mississippi. My team and I have been meeting with folks from across the district to talk about how I can best serve our communities in Congress.

Here are some of the stops we've made:

Partnering With Local Leadership

On Monday, I met with the Lamar County Board of Supervisors, and today I made similar stops in George County and Greene County.

South Mississippi is growing, but our communities still face serious challenges.

As a conservative, I know the solution to our problems isn't going to come from Washington. That's why I've prioritized partnering with the city and county elected officials who know more about their communities than Washington bureaucrats ever will.

Supporting the South Mississippi Economy

I had the privilege of touring Ingalls Shipbuilding in my hometown of Pascagoula on Wednesday. As a native of Pascagoula, I’m proud of the work that Ingalls has done and continues to do to equip our armed forces.

South Mississippi shipbuilders are always up to the challenge of outfitting the military with state-of-the-art technology and the best ships in the world.

Our shipyards are crucial to the economic health of our state, and I'll always work hard to support them in Congress.

Honoring the 168th Engineer Brigade

On Saturday, I had the privilege of speaking at the send-off for the 168th Engineer Brigade, including my nephew Christopher, at Camp Shelby.

I'm so proud of Christopher and the rest of the 168th. Their commitment to service should be an inspiration to all of us.

In case you missed it, our first district offices opened this week in Pascagoula and Hattiesburg. Stay tuned for announcements about official ribbon cuttings, as well as more district office locations.

As always, please forward this newsletter to your friends and family and encourage them to sign up at ezell.house.gov and please connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to get more frequent updates from my office.

It's a great honor to serve you in Congress.

Sincerely,

Mike Ezell
