Dear friend,  I am proud to announce that my office is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. This annual nationwide program provides high school students across Mississippi’s Fourth District an opportunity to showcase their creativity and represent our communities in our nation’s capital. The winning artwork from MS-04 will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, where it will be seen by visitors from across the country and around the world. This competition celebrates the talent, vision, and creativity of young artists while highlighting the unique culture and spirit of South Mississippi. The competition is open to all high school students in the Fourth District. Entries must be original, two-dimensional artwork in an approved medium such as painting, drawing, photography, or mixed media. The submission deadline is April 17. Click here for the full regulations and requirements for artwork submission.  I encourage teachers, parents, and school leaders to share this opportunity with students who have a passion for art and creative expression. Your encouragement can help young artists gain confidence, recognition, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their work displayed in the U.S. Capitol. South Mississippi is home to remarkable talent, and I look forward to seeing the creativity and perspective our students bring to this year’s competition. For full guidelines and submission details, please visit my website or contact my district office. Look forward to seeing all the tremendous artwork our students submit this year! Best,
