Dear [salutation],

It's been another busy week fighting for our South Mississippi values in Washington. Here's what my team and I have been working on this week:

Countering Chinese Aggression

After President Biden allowed a Chinese spy balloon to float peacefully across the nation near our military bases, Congress took action. We passed H.Res. 104, which condemns the CCP's spying as a violation of our sovereignty and calls on the Biden administration to provide Congress with a full account of what happened.

The Biden administration has continually demonstrated weakness in the face of Chinese aggression and supported Beijing's interests in the name of "green energy".

House Republicans will continue holding the White House and the rest of the administration accountable because America must stand strong for our values.

Taking Down Biden's SOTU Spin

On Tuesday, President Biden gave his State of the Union address to the nation. The American people heard exactly what we expected: partisan spin and a refusal to address the issues facing our nation.

He made hollow promises to finally address the border and fentanyl, but after two years his inaction speaks louder than his words.

In the face of skyrocketing inflation, President Biden pledged to raise taxes and praised our economy—ignoring the thousands of American families struggling to make ends meet.

He called again for a debt ceiling increase without ANY cuts to spending. In other words, the president and Congressional Democrats want to continue to spend more money and pass the costs on to our children and grandchildren.

On top of all of this, Biden chose to lie about Congressional Republicans instead of defending his record. After two disastrous years, that shouldn't come as a surprise.

Unfortunately for him, the American people see through the spin because they know the truth.

Presiding over the House Floor

One of the most humbling parts of being in the new Republican majority is being asked to preside over the House. I was given that honor for the first time yesterday.

I'm excited to announce that our first two district offices will be open beginning Monday, February 13.

The Pascagoula Office is located at 3207 Magnolia Street, Suite 101, Pascagoula, MS 39567.

The Hattiesburg Office is located at 641 Main Street, Suite 142, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
